(Pinksheets:ESNR – News), a leading provider of ultra-fast vapor analyzers, announced today that it had received an order for 7 instruments, one model 4500 and six model 4200 instruments from Beijing Research and Development Inc. Beijing China, the company’s China distributor.

Beijing R&D has been promoting the use of the zNOSE outside of EST’s historic market of pollution control and scientific and analytic instrumentation. This order represents the first of many we anticipate for the use of the zNOSE in security applications. The zNOSE is an effective tool to detect nitrogen based explosives such as TNT, RTX and Fuel Oil bombs and non-nitrogen based explosives including TATP. In addition the highly sensitive zNOSE can detect irritating chemicals, tear gas, and nerve agents at low concentration.

EST is working with Beijing R&D to promote the zNOSE in new applications. In addition to public safety and security, Beijing R&D is addressing food adulteration and contamination, narcotics detection and herbal medicine quality control. “We are please that Beijing R&D is looking aggressively for new applications.
